Day 15 – First Vid of me running

We made another 3 miles this morning – that’s 12 for the week.  According to the 40 week training program this week was a light one.  I’ve been pulling some long hours at the office and my diet has suffered for it.  My body was telling me that this morning.  Very little energy and a little woozy after I got home.  I’ll have a good meal tonight – chicken, potatoes and some broccoli – that will hopefully help with the body.  My mind is doing fine.  I love the run! Its so good to get outside of your own head for that 30 minutes or so.  Brody was well behaved this morning so it was fun.  We’ll do some training in the backyard this afternoon with the hope he continues to improve.

As promised, Cait did some filming this morning.  I was in a hurry to get out of the house because Megan’s radio show (see links) is on, on Sunday morns. –  so didn’t stick around to give a refresher course on the use of the cam.  I should’ve taken the 3 minutes to do so.  So sweet of Cait to come out with me at that hour to grab some footage but we’ll have to try it again next week.  Here’s what we got.  I think it’s a good start…

Tomorrow is supposed to be a down day in the sched. but I think I’ll run because the rest of the week is going to be very long with the Target shoot (Tues-Thurs).

Oh, one more from the video debacle this morning.  The buttons got a little confused when Cait tried to push record and instead we got a still photo.  The result is a happy accident.  Demon dogs!!
